AMY GODDARD
Amy Goddard is the founder of the I Am A Songwriter Mentorship Program and a recording artist with 12 years of released music, BBC Radio airplay, and a performance at Cambridge Folk Festival. Her song Remembering Aberfan also received a FATEA award.
For years, Amy was the songwriter who could not get the lyrics in her head onto the page. She thought good songs arrived fully formed, until a workshop coach showed her the opposite: powerful lyrics often leave strategic gaps for the listener to fill. Amy tried it, wrote something she loved on the spot, and later used that discovery to write and release her first album to strong reviews.
That insight became her Say It Without Saying It method and the foundation of her mentorship. Today, she helps lifelong music lovers learn the practical craft behind lyrics that draw people in. One member finished a song he had been stuck on for 15 years, while another began at 76 and heard his folk club sing his first song back to him.
